Form\u00e9s par substitution d'\u00e9l\u00e9ments chalcog\u00e8nes, ils conservent les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s fondamentales des acides amin\u00e9s tout en conf\u00e9rant aux organismes des activit\u00e9s physiologiques particuli\u00e8res.
